Today when I checked my Kiva account I saw that 4 of my 12 entrepreneurs have repayed their loans... That is two more than yesterday and makes me have more money for other loans again. This is very good news and if you want to see the repayment rate and the profiles of the two new re-payers see below:
1. Esi Nkrumah who lives in Elimina, Ghana has started up a doughnut business 10 years ago since then it has always been going upwards. Esi is married and with her income she helps her husband pay for the accommodation bills. Now with this loan of $ 125 she is planning to expand her business and make her family's living conditions better. She has now repayed 25% of her loan.
2. Tuvshinjargal Chogdonhorloo from Mongolia. Tuvshinjargal provides a taxi service in the Uvurhangai province. Tuvshinjargal is 39 years old and has a wife (which is currently unemployed) and two children. Tuvshinjargal has been running the taxi service for 5 years and has many regular custormers, but now his car broke down and he is requesting a loan to buy spare parts for his car and some wash tokens to keep his car sparkling and offer his customers a better service. He is now on his second repayment and has repayed 8% of his original loan.
